Trinitat Pradell has been recognized with the Narcís Monturiol Medal of the Generalitat de Catalunya and named a member of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans

The researcher from the Department of Physics has been awarded the Narcís Monturiol Medal for her outstanding contribution to the development of science and technology in Catalonia.

The Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya has awarded the Narcís Monturiol Medal to the researcher Trinitat Pradell i Cara, professor of the Department of Physics. This award recognizes the outstanding contribution of the researcher to the development of science and technology in Catalonia.

 She carries out her research at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE), in the field of Materials Science with special attention to materials of interest in the field of cultural heritage and its conservation. She studies the production technology and the state of conservation of Historical-Artistic materials, contributing data to Historical research.

 Trinitat Pradell has also recently been appointed a full member of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans in the Science and Technology section. This Section currently comprises four areas of science: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Geology, and four areas of technology: Industrial, Construction, Information and Communication, and Earth.
